Personal Facts:

I am from Alpine, Utah.  Married Chase Palmer in 2005.  We have three little boys(Chase, Jackson, and Jayden). We are living in New York while my husband finishes graduate school.  This past year I trained for the Salt Lake City Marathon in Central Park everyday and have discovered a whole new love for running.  I love it and have a desire to see how fast I can become!

8 miles.  Foot felt good.  Legs felt good.  I felt like I was running a lot faster than I was and sometimes I wonder how I will be able to run my marathon goal pace cause race day.  But one run at a time and I still have a months so I will just feel happy that my foot felt good today and my run was enjoyable.

I definitely had to push myself to keep the pace.  I was suppose to run the first 11 easy and then pick it up to moderate pace the last 11.  Usually when I do my long runs they are at a 8:00-8:10 min mile so I wanted to see how my legs would do to try to run closer to my marathon pace.  It was a harder run, makes me wonder how I will run a 6:54 min mile in the marathon, but it felt good to run a little faster long run.

I was suppose to do speed work today but yesterday I had to run my 10 miles pushing my jogger since my husband was out of town and couldn't watch my boys.  So when I woke up this morning my legs were extra stiff.  I decided to switch todays run with tomorrows and enjoyed an easy 10 miler @ a 8 min. mile pace.  Felt great and my legs feel much better.

I was suppose to run in a half marathon race today so I had to make my 13 miles race like and go all out.  I ran a 6:49 pace which was slower than I would have liked but I was just proud of myself for doing it because I almost quite after the first few miles.  My legs are still tired after last week and I am just excited to now have an easy week!

24 @ 8 min. pace.  Finished in 3:12 I think.  Felt pretty good until mile 20 and then it was down hill from there.  But I stretched good and took an ice bath and my legs feel much better.

Ran 2 miles easy

Was suppose to run 6 miles progressing from marathon pace to half marathon pace and unfortunately did not have it in my legs to finish.  A little frustrated that I didn't keep the pace but oh well.  Did 5 miles tempo.
