Boston Marathon!  Great experience.  I was feeling great going into the marathon and excited to see what I could get.  I had high hopes for a sub-3 hour but finished with a 3:09.  I felt like I have learned a lot through the training as well as the race itself and I am excited to try again in the future to reach my goal.  The course was a lot harder than I had expected and the downhill/hills killed my legs.  It was a tough finish to the end and was so happy to be done.  I would have like to have felt a little better so I could have enjoyed my first experience of the Boston Marathon a little better but it was one that I will definitely remember and learn from!  Excited to rest up and let my quads recover.

Great job in Boston. Anyone who came w/in 10 minutes of their goal time in that heat had a good day in my opinion!
