I would first need to move out of New York City, but I would love to win a race.

Attempt to Qualify for the Olympic Trials
Personal Facts:
I am from Alpine, Utah. Married Chase Palmer in 2005. We have three little boys(Chase, Jackson, and Jayden). We are living in New York while my husband finishes graduate school. This past year I trained for the Salt Lake City Marathon in Central Park everyday and have discovered a whole new love for running. I love it and have a desire to see how fast I can become!

Thanks Allie! I've been meaning to email you! Summer has been crazy and training got completely away from me. We went back east for 7 weeks and by the time I got home Des News was way out of reach:( Sadly. But I am back in the swing of things and am back running with the team. I am actually going to do a little cross country this fall. Kind of random but I think it will help get me in shape to start marathon training in December. I am going to do Boston! Any marathons on the calendar for you??

xc sounds like a great idea -- that should be a great (and fun) way to transition to marathon training. i have one xc race on the schedule this fall -- hay bails and all, just like the AF grass relays in high school. :)
that's exciting about boston. i've been thinking about running it, but everything is still up in the air for now as far as longer distance races go. no marathons on the horizon, at least not in 2015. i'm still doing shorter track and hill repeats for my workouts, just trying to get in solid shape before transitioning to half marathon stuff. for once in my life i have a long-term outlook (as in, train to run a good marathon a year from now instead of 6 weeks from now). i'm still getting used to this approach. :)
i'm glad you are healthy and training and have some racing plans lined up. good luck!
